my last car hit a stop sign that was part of a metal pole filled with cement and stuck into a parking lot deep in the ground. damaged my entire front clip and damaged only the tranny cooler and radiator. they replaced those, put on new fenders, lights, fascia and hood and the brace that got punched in that contained the hood latch. the car was driven 5 more years before i sold it last summer.

Sorry for your loss, man. At least you know you will be able to get into a new one.
And I'm VERY happy to know you are okay. |

Glad your okay. Get that low VIN repaired- hopefully.
Question- is this accident considered your fault since you hit someone? Your insurance still has to pay but was wonderin g what the insurance implications are on something like this. A while back, (Not Camaro) I had to swerve to avoid an accident, did some damage to my vehicle, and insurance said it was my fault for basically not having control of the vehicle enough to avoid the damage. So I ended up dropping the claim (Not easy). Still, glad your okay. Looks like a fairly big impact.

Suprised it took this long into the post for someone to mention this. First thing I though of was Traveling to close. A car like this should have no problem stopping in time to avoid an accident if the driver left enough room.
