Well, all this bickering aside, the '14s certainly are showing up now. A few dealerships near me show several in transit, and one has a CRT 2SS on the ground with the Recaros!! I'm going to look at it today to see how I like them and if I want them for my 1LE... Can't wait to finally see a '14 in person!

I hope they look better in person, I like the front just not sold on the rear yet. Good to hear they are coming to dealerships now.

It appears that the 2014 will have an Active Cruise Control system. The 3rd picture of the Black SS you can see a front mount sensor. Which means it senses the distance between you and the car in front of you and will modify your speed if necessary to maintain a safe distance. Anyone else agree that is what that sensor is for?

Do you mean the square piece on the passenger side? I think that is for a tow hook.....

I absolutely love the 14. I should have waited and gotten one, it looks more modern. That being said the 13 is awesome too, I love mine.
It's my opinion.

It probably won't, but fbodfather has said to give it a chance and see the car in person as picture's don't do it justice and not to judge before then. So out of respect for him people are going to see it in person.

I already know I like the '14s. I was taken back by the tail lights at first, but they've grown on me. As rickr said, they look more modern to me, and I like the look, especially with the 1LE package, which I'm getting. I also like the fact that the front end was changed with aerodynamic performance in mind. I just want to see what they look like, see the new color displays, and see how I feel about the comfort of the Recaro seats... It'll be very soon when I place my order!!

I finally "met it" yesterday... and its wicked. The tweaks are really nice, a bit more sinister. I was in and around a 2SS RS, Blue Ray Metallic. They did a great job on this tweak! Again, i love mine... always will... ALWAYS...

but this is nice, too. Im actually ordering in October.... staying with BLACK!

I think I saw the above color on a Tahoe yesterday...and was thinking it would look good on a Camaro

Seeing pictures of a car vs. seeing one up close and personal does make a difference if you're interested in it. Like a Ford Focus? I don't care so it wouldn't matter.

When they released the 3rd gen...hated the picture of the profile. Saw one in person and it was quite better than I thought because I could walk around it, touch it and sit in it. I ordered a new 82 Z28...

4th gen pics came out...ouch. EXPOSED WIPERS? WTF? HOW UGLY!!! Ended up buying a 93 Z28...98s came out. Ugh...the picture of new nose looked like a catfish face. Ended up ordering my 02 SS and the wife got her 02 Z28. MAJOR difference.

5th gen came out. I liked it right away from the unveil. But in person, I got to see just how FAT looking the car's ass is. Wasn't a deal breaker though. This is a case of the opposite effect. But wasn't bad enough to not buy one.

5th gen refresh pics...wasn't super excited about the tail lights or chrome piece right away. More and more pics/different angles came out and the more I saw, the more I liked. I do like how the ZL1 kept its nose and upgraded the taillights. Kinda neat actually.

So yes, pictures are a far cry from real life. Ask anyone who's done one of those online dating things.

Can someone take a video of one so we can see your view of "in person"? Pics are good, but I think the video will give a little more insight..
