power engine reduced and Service Stabilitrak
I was about to enter the highway and the power reduce ,Service Stabilitrak and check engine light turned on. I let the car sit for 30 min then everything went away.
MODS - INTAKE , CAM, LONG TUBE HEADERS Bought a check engine light reader an it showed 6 codes P0068 - Manifold Absolute Pressure/Mass Air Flow - Throttle Position Correlation P0156- Oxygen Sensor Circuit Bank 2 Sensor 2 (See P2272, P2273) P0056 -Heated Oxygen Sensor Heater Control Circuit Bank 2 Sensor 2 P015D -O2 Sensor Delayed Response - Lean to Rich (Bank 2 Sensor 1) U0401 - Invalid Data Received From Engine Control Module / Powertrain Control Module A C0242 -Powertrain Control Module Indicated Traction Control Last edited by rodrig7521; 12-18-2016 at 12:55 PM. |

might just change the 02 sensor today just to see. dealership wont open till Tuesday. what you guys think ?

I think if the CEL did not reappear, don't chase parts trying to fix the problem. Did you get the car tuned after the LTh's were installed? Maybe start with the simplest causes like faulty grounds (there are a few, so it's a PITA to track down sometimes) or a dirty MAF sensor. Code readers are a must for any shadetree, but I've found that without more knowledge, chasing parts gets expensive and potentially frustrating.

i would start with the u code first,possibly a bad ground,the c code is just telling you it turned on the light. Check grounds on bank 2 perhaps a harness rubbed through good luck bro

Places do not always tune out the delayed response from the front O2 sensors tuning off the code it throws which may have been the cause of all the others as they pile on, time to talk to the tuner........ It takes then 10 seconds hooked up to turn off that code if they have not it will be back....

The Bank 2 codes shouldn't be on. Tuner needs to turn them off, since you don't have stock cats.

just noticed the codes P015D, P0056 and P0156 are permanent on the code reader.
P0056 -Heated Oxygen Sensor Heater Control Circuit Bank 2 Sensor 2 P0156- Oxygen Sensor Circuit Bank 2 Sensor 2 (See P2272, P2273) P015D -O2 Sensor Delayed Response - Lean to Rich (Bank 2 Sensor 1) i decided to just go ahead an replace both sensors, car is running better then before, if it happens again i will post on here. i deleted the other codes to see if it will show again later in the future. |

Bought a check engine light reader an it showed 6 codes P0068 - Manifold Absolute Pressure/Mass Air Flow - Throttle Position Correlation (tune or gorund, electrical fault, dirty sensor, bad sensor) P0156- Oxygen Sensor Circuit Bank 2 Sensor 2 (See P2272, P2273) (no cats? tune) P0056 -Heated Oxygen Sensor Heater Control Circuit Bank 2 Sensor 2 (Tune) P015D -O2 Sensor Delayed Response - Lean to Rich (Bank 2 Sensor 1) (Tune) U0401 - Invalid Data Received From Engine Control Module / Powertrain Control Module A (electrical problem, possible faulty ecu, bad ground, this is not a common code to get after headers or a tune) C0242 -Powertrain Control Module Indicated Traction Control (this will most likely be a result of the U0401 code or vise versa) I don't mean to be disrespectful towards your tuner, but if he forgot to disable the 2nd O2 sensors when removing the CATS and compensate for the 1st O2s sensor delay, than you should find a new tuner.  makes me wonder if there was any actual tuning involved...

I would have started with the MAF sensor (easiest first). Get some CRC MAF sensor cleaner and just follow the directions. Worked for me!
