G6x3 cam is in.

Ok car has cam and lg full exhaust on the stock tune. If you complain about driveability or tuning with this cam you are a Pansy. Other than the idle being too low it runs and drives good, it is above 13s in the afr under wot so I am trying to take it easy. Overall I am very impressEd with how wel the "ls3 took a cam that is supposed to be one of the fastest and most powerful cams

I have a LSr intake for it. With it the car ran crazy lean so I removed it. But it will have that the exhaust and cam. I would like to be 490 or close to it.

So...jealous...Mine is sitting on the garage floor. Laughing at me each day I have to daily drive my Camaro while the truck is waiting for its new rear axle. I may finally get to do it this week/weekend.

Good to hear you haven't even tuned it yet and you can still run it. Maybe I'll actually drive it to the tuner.

Ill get some vids when I can actually play with it a bit...
Just cruising around trying to keep it from dying when i stop wouldnt make for a very exciting video..

I also added a wideband to the car.. So I can keep an eye on things when i start to spray it..

Yeehaw!!

All this exciting talk about the LG G6 Cams is great. Can't wait to see your video and other people installing them.

This is an awesome piece!

Ok....so I'm confused here. One min you say that you're a pansy if you complain about the driveability which means to me it's a very street friendly cam.

Then you say that you have to try to keep it from dying at a stop sign.....which doesn't sound very streetable at all.

well that's only because ofthr low idle. The stock cams almost chop with the stock tune and it's 500rpm idle. If it idled at even 750 there wouldn't be any issues I'm sure.

He needs the car tuned...

Raising the idle alone won't fix it, the MAF/VE Tables, Spark and running airflow tables need dialed in for the cam.

Raising the idle would fix the dying issue just fine. The air fuel during cruising is just fine. So adjusting ve an maf tables would do nothing. No amount of Timing is going to settle this thing down when it's tying to run at 400 500 rpm..

I have a shop in Houston. I have first hand experience tunin cams bigger than this on alot smaller motors. This thing just needs a little more rpm and it would be fine.

Ok....so if it was tuned then the idle could be brought up to the correct RPM and all should be good.

Look forward to hearing the car. I love me some nice loping V8!!!
