Saki anyone?
Let me say that I am a beer and bourbon drinker from waaaaay back
But lately I've been on a Saki kick and have to say I like it. I don't drink often ( at a friends house we BBQ every Sunday and the libations flow) Gin, premium tequilas and bourbons and of course living the Pacific Northwest we have the best beer in the country.. all staples for us..but now there is a PACNW Saki brewery type kick going on in our wine country and I have to say I like it ! You can get feeling real good and no hangover. The stuff is pure and it makes a difference on the hangover meter for sure. |

I don't mind a little Sake. It's not something I can see myself drinking regularly, but every now and then it's good.

Was out to Dinner at the Local Banzai Restaurant. And the Chef would not let the Waitress get me My 3rd Bud. But he kept squirting me the Warm Saki across the Hibachi table all night.
Yea I like Sakie; Left with a good Buzz on. |

I've been drinking Saki for about 10 years now. Where I'm at now it's hard to get it though. There is one place that sells it and only two restaurants that serve it. I don't do those lame saki bombs either. I drink it cold. The hot stuff is typically the bottom of the barrel crap. I drink it while I'm enjoying some sushi, but I've also got a bottle of Kokuryu in the fridge.

I don't know a whole lot about it, but I do enjoy splitting a bottle of warm sake when I go out for sushi
