How do I remove emblems from vinyl rally stripes?
I want to remove the LS3 emblem from my hood rally stripes, they look too much like L53 and ppl ask what L53 means all the time. I'm affraid of using heat because it may weaken the vinyl and ruin it. So, I'm looking for a solution to remove them safely! Thanks!

Ice scraper? j/k
maybe a little heat (or leave it in the sun) then get under them with fishing line or dental floss. fishing line wont break as easy as dental floss (but it lacks the minty freshness) |

Yes. The Goo Gone website states that it is safe to use on vinyl.

Well it is an "S", The 5's are different. The S's on the LSA logo are backwards Z's. We do not fabricate the characters, they are what they are. In fact I have those exact same pieces on my hood.
You remove these the same exact way you do from any other part of the car. Get behind the pieces with a fishing line and cut your way across the back. Then the pieces will come off. There will be some tape residue left behind, this you will need to just rub off with your thumb. Do not try to pull these off, do not use chemicals on your vinyl unless you know it is ok. Thanks, Roger |
