Question 2200km from new. WTF happened to my car!!

Its gone insane I tell you!
Its like its on acid or something, its just so responsive with breathtaking accelleration (Much much more then ever before)

I loved how it hauled a$$ from a stop light before, but today has been ridiculous, its like some chains have been removed.

The only thing I can suggest is that its broken in ???

Ive kept under 4000 revs until about 1500km and then decided "enough!!"

But today was like "THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!"

OUR72GTO warned me that this was gonna happen!!

Before today, the car didnt feel that much faster than my HEMI Magnum but today, it felt like I was strapped to a rocket!

Yea also could be fuel and weather conditions.

Did you change the oil yet to the Royal Purps?

I'm thought about using this in the 8. Do you honestly think the price premium is worth it?

well in Canada where the OP is from they use the metric system becasue it is so much freakin easier! KMs are kilometers, you know 1000 meters, roughly 3000 feet, 65ish % of a mile... I think they tried that in the US for a second. I have seen a few, very few where the interstate distance signs gave miles and kilometers.

10ths are so much easier than miles, yards, feet, inches... too many conversions!

plus going 100 legally is just so much cooler!! 100 kph = about 65 mph. Look at your speedometer, most cars have two sets of numbers. If it doesnt, there is a setting that will change to reading to kph from mph and it adjust needle position.

Note on the C6 how MPH is lit up. If you look close, you can see km/h is not lit but if I change the setting that will light up and the speed will be expressed in kph as will the odometer be in KM and all the other reading will be in the metric system instead of english units.

Well - they have a line that has additives that their regular synthetic formula. "XPR" I think it is. Supposed to have more elements that offer greater protection and such. I couldn't tell you if it's any better. FWIW - I remember a member over at LS1tech who tested a lot of oils: Patman I think it was. Maybe search for his posts because he had his oils lab' tested and everything. Very interesting information.

Matrix - that's awesome I can't wait for my day

Any chance that this improvement is something that they have programmed into the ECM. After X miles or first oil change remove restriction Y?
