Removal of Hard/Calcified Water Spots

Although not about my Camaro, I am so impressed with this product, I had to share in case anyone else has a similar issue.

A little background: I live in area that has extremely hard water, as well as extreme heat, and we have to park my wife's CUV outside (Camaro & Corvette get the garage). For the past couple of years the CUV was being hit by the sprinklers that ran along one side of the drive and the calcified water spots were pretty much destroying the paint and were almost impossible to remove. A few months ago I worked with my neighbor (who was also having problems with sprinklers) to have the lawn between our houses removed, along with the sprinklers, and replaced with rock...cause of the issues removed.

Since then, I started looking for the best way to remove all the spots. I tried the 'distilled vinegar' method shown on a couple YouTube videos … didn't put a dent in the spots. Talked to a few 'professional' detailers, all of which told me the only way was to use a buffer/polisher, start with a fairly aggressive polish and work down. Started checking online to purchase all the products recommended when I ran across 3D Auto Detailing Products Eraser Water Spot Remover on Amazon and decided to give it a try … extremely glad I did.

Followed the directions and 5 hours later all the spots were gone; washed and waxed it afterwards and the CUV looks as good as new. The pictures speak for themselves...

(The before pictures were taken after the prewash in preparation for apply the spot remover … you can clearly see how bad they were)

What a transformation! Just looked up some of their products, pricing is not bad at all. We have hard water also and I am always fighting the retched water spots, will order a bottle and try it out. Thanks
