so far every one I have seen with the acrylic panels has been that way...I don't know if it is a design flaw in the door panel or what...

I think though there should be a way to adjust the inner door panel so it would aligne up... at least I hope there would be...

thats my fear they delayed this launch "to get everything perfect" well how the hell is this perfect??!! wheres FBodfather I would like a response to this.

I find that unacceptable........and I might be in the minority about this but if the car I ordered shows up and has that kind of flaws I will not be taking it. Yes that is harsh but seriously this is what the consumer expects today. I mean the car doesn't have to be perfect but seriously? panels not matching up by more than a half inch is just rediculous.

I'll reserve final judgment for when I see a car in person, pictures can be decieving. That being said, those pictures are not encouraging. But as soon as I fire up that LS3, I'll completely forget about it.

Yes well Hylton was there and he wasnt to happy about it. You know whats funny how many of you guys view this thread but dont want to comment on the sub par quality in this picture of RICKS car!

A Camaro5 member brought this up to a rep at a show, I remember reading that thread. Apparently they didn't fix it. I will say though, that I rode in one for a good half an hour and didn't notice this at all. Perhaps the IO interior's sharp contrast makes the misalignment more drastic.

Edit: also, this does not look bad in the production pics on the GM site:

I agree with you. Pictures can be deceiving, so I'd like to wait to see one in person. It could just be the angle. However, if it isn't, I certainly hope that's something they get fixed before my car comes in, and preferably of course, for everyone's car here.
