"Regular" headlights (not HIDs)
I'd like to see more pics of the "non-halo" headlights. You know, the ones you get if you dont order the RS package.
It seems as if ~nearly~ everyone wants the Halos. I don't - I like the added "retro" look of the regular lights. Post up the pics of the regular lights, please, to help me make up my mind. Did anyone even bother to consider getting the regular ones? Thanks.

Believe it or not...despite the cool-factor of the halo rings, I like the "regular" headlights a little better than the HIDs...

I don't like the halo's, I am getting the standard ones and I also like the color of the tail-lights which are the standard red as well and the painted silver the way it is in the picture over the midnight grey. So I save over a thousand on that and like it better. Remember that Bumblebee had the standard halogen lights in the movie Transformers as well and painted silver rims (even though they were hub-caps made to look like rims)..

I am a huge fan of the non RS hadlights. I also like the fact that the signal lights will be the DRL's on these cars. Car will look very agressive coming down the road.

I really like the standard lights. They look much more aggressive than the halos, along with a slightly more retro look.

Im with ya. I didnt want the halos or the darker rear lights. I do however want a set of polished 20's...but I figured I can pick them up in due time.

I didn't get the RS package because of theose halos. I love HIDs, but those halos just don't blend with the retro look of the car.
I also didn't want the badging that comes with the RS package on an SS Basically, nothing in the RS appealed to me. I ordered the polished wheels, $470. |

I hope I can pick up a kit to get HIDs. I want them for function rather then look. My 4th gen headlights suck when it's dark and raining.

I was going back and forth, about the RS package, until I saw this picture! I ordered RS...
I really like, however, that the lack of the RS package does not take away from the class or beauty of the car. It doesn't look "stripped" without it.

I'm all for the halo lights. It makes the front of the just much more... sophisticated.
Maybe you guys should see them in person lit up and judge what you like better.

I absolutely love the Halos. And after seeing the "red" halo from the Sema concept...I know I'm getting them!

I love the Halos. They make the front end more aggressive. Also, IMHO I dont want a retro look. I want it to look more futuristic. The more the better. Just my $0.02!

I love the halo lights, they really set it apart from the other cars in its class. Besides, the halo lights are probably there to replace the flipup headlights from the first-generation RS package. Consider them the 5th-Gen's RS flipup headlights!
