Z/28 wheels

So I have an opportunity to buy some Z/28 wheels and I was wondering if you guys know if there is a way to tell them apart from replicas? The guy said he was getting rid of them because he got aftermarket wheels and is getting rid of them for pretty cheap so I want to cover my bases.

All OEM wheels are stamped with a part number on the inside the barrel of the wheel.

Easiest way is the Z/28 rims have "Z/28" stamped into the lip of the rim just like our 1LE rims have CAMARO stamped into the lip.

OEM part #, size, and offset is stamped. That and the Z/28 on front. I don't know of any repops that are 19" either, all are 20.

The replicas that I know of have the valve stem in the center of the rim barrel and OEM will have it on the outside like "normal" rims do. Also, OEM are 19 inch rims whereas the replicas I've seen are 20 and 22 inches

most replicas are also 20" while the real z28 wheels are 19"s but yes serial number and stamped z28 in the wheels as well.
