Untitled 2011 Camaro: $80k

Shopping for a member over the weekend and ran across an untitled 2011. I'll admit, I see some strange elephants occasionally but I some things just make you go WTFO.

Untitled 2011 Camaro 2SS: $80k

Al Willeford Chevrolet, Corpus Christi, Texas

From what I could gather after calling the dealership and talking to someone who sounded barely awake and had no interest discussing the vehicle;

2011 Camaro "ZL1 replica";
  • ZL1 front end
  • Custom hood
  • Painted Heritage Grill
  • SS badges removed for custom ZL1 badging
  • OEM seats were replaced or reskinned with custom seat covers from "Katzkin"
  • Aftermarket wing with carbon fiber wrap
  • Carbon fiber custom rear diffuser
  • Carbon fiber engine cover
  • Carbon fiber accented steering wheel
  • OEM Rotors replaced with Drilled rotors
  • OEM brakes upgraded to 6-piston Brembos
  • Clutch replaced with ZL1 Clutch

SLP performance:

  • Custom Exhaust
  • Custom radiator
  • Aluminum "blueprinted" 427 CID motor
  • SLP half shafts
  • SLP forged custom wheels: 20" "Dusk replicas" with ZL1 badging
  • Whipple Supercharger
  • Tune

No warranty. There is an implied 12 month warranty if you live close to the dealership. All original parts have been sold or unavailable.

Best guesses on where this might sell or actual street value?

$38-40k and I was being extremely generous

It's crazy how little some dealerships know about cars...

I'd buy a new ZL1 for that price. and have a much better vehicle with a warranty.

It's like a Yenko Camaro in the past, Chevrolet builds it then SLP gets it shipped to them and then they customize the car, add a supercharger etc. I would stay away from a "new" car that has been sitting around a dealers lot that long. Lots or chances for lot rash, mice and sun to damage the car.

It's not uncommon to find this sort of car for sale...Like stated before it's just a car that was shipped to a big name builder for significant modifications and the name branding...Not the sort of car the average income person would purchase, but you might see in Jay Leno's garage...

I am aware of about half a dozen in the entire country so your definition of uncommon is different than most.

Dealer near me had a brand new 78 Corvette pace car on the showroom floor with a million dollar price tag on it. Years after the dealership closed and long gone, it still sat there covered in dust. Weird.
