No more debates

Hello guys, I finally did it. In various threads I have talked about 2013 versus the 2014 1LE, what to do etc, blah, blah. I talked about the 1LE that I had driven and how it seemed to respond better than the SS manual.
One thing never waivered, I wanted a 1LE, in black, I wanted it for my base car to hot rod it and get to over 700 horsepower.

Well I took step one. I bought it. A 2013 1LE, black on black 2SS. I love, love it.
This thing runs so well. It handles so well, and responds so quickly to the gas pedal. I still say GM is doing something special with these 1LE's.

Dealer still has to do tint, or I may have darker tint done by a shop I know. It also needs paint detailing and that happens soon.

The gearbox, clutch and engine all work so well together. I must drive it all the time.

Here are a few pictures.

Jim

That is a 1SS, not a 2SS, ands it better in my opinion (I got the same car too). Congratulationsand may it last for you and yours for ever. Take the white sS sticker off, underneath is a flat black sticker, it will look a lot better.

Congrats!!

I love my 1LE and noticed the same thing. First Camaro I test drove was a 1SS/RS with the dual mode exhaust and wasn't too impressed. As I was trying to leave the dealer, the salesman said I could take the 1LE out for a drive and see what I thought of it. Went straight to doing paperwork when we got back and I'm quite happy with it!

Nice car and congrats! welcome to the club. But be advised, you have a CAMARO RS plate frame on a non RS car. Not sure if you ever noticed that.

There is no way you can tell a 1SS from a 2SS from the outside so unless you saw pics of the inside that I didn't, don't correct the OP on what he bought. I think you are confusing nonRS with 1SS.

And I always giggle a little when I see handicap placards in sports cars. I don't know but it seems contradictory. Lol. And please do not take any offense by that statement. It just makes me giggle for some reason.

Very nice car!!! You will love it I'm sure.

I have the exact same one a Black 2SS non RS. You can definitly save some money doing the HIDs and LED fogs yourself.

Could be a 2SS, it just doesn't have the RS package. Great looking 1LE OP.
