Cadillac’s revelation that “the next-generation V-Series models are in development and will premiere next year.” We’ve seen prototypes of both the CTS-V and ATS-V out testing, but the suggestion that there is a so-called V-Series could possibly portend a larger XTS-V variant.
The next-gen CTS-V is rumored to receive the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06’s monstrous 625-hp, 6.2-liter V-8. As far as the ATS-V, there’s been speculation that it will get an uprated variant of the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V-6 seen in the 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport and XTS Vsport, where it makes 420 hp and 410 hp, respectively. More recently, the word is that the M3-fighting ATS-V will utilize a 3.2-liter V-6 with upwards of 500 hp. Based on spy photos we’ve seen, expect all future V-series performance vehicles to get more aggressive aerodynamic body panels and a thick-slatted vertical grille pattern when they arrive in 2015.

Interesting how this website also speculates the HP to be 625 for cts-v. Thus, I am open to a big surprise for the 2015 ZL1

Do not rule it out if they do have it for cts-v then why not zl1? I know last year, dotta, dotta.

You are beating a dead horse here. There will be NO horsepower increase for 2015. It is not listed in the order book and nowhere to be found. Do you honestly think that GM could keep that a "secret"? Especially a huge increase in power? No chance.

This site is wrong. The 2015 CTS-V will be the same!!!! I already provided you with the website and words straight from the engineer's mouth. They are actually talking about the 2016 CTS-V in this article (it's a misprint).

Give it up man, he's either extremely thick-headed or a troll. He doesn't get it! I GAVE HIM THE 2015 ORDER GUIDE: NEW COLOR AND LIGHTED FOOT WELLS! THAT IS ALL THAT WILL CHANGE.

These photos don’t tell us anything new about the impending CTS-V, but the vehicles in its company sure do. Rumors that the new CTS-V will use a version of the Z06’s 625 horsepower, 6.2-liter LT4 V8 engine have been circulating for months now

They are referring to the NEW CTS-V as in the 2016 when it and the Camaro get a brand new platform and design, NOT the 2015.

Like the others stated, there's a very nonexistent chance it gets a HP bump. All their focus is probably on the next generation of cars.

Then you have to factor in the ZL1 is only for a select group of Camaro buyers. If you want something better then pony up for the Z28. It's common sense business.

I can appreciate the hope and enthusiasm of a power bump (as this is how I was feeling a little more than a year ago), but realistically IMO everything was said and done by the time of the Z/28 announcement. Chevy's chance to put in more power would've been with the Z/28 and with the '14 changes. Instead, the Z/28 came out with less power, and the camaros only received cosmetic changes. If there was a power bump coming we all would've heard about it by now. Additionally, its apparent that Chevy is wrapping things up with the 5th gen and focusing their resources on the up coming 6th gen.

The table is set and the meal is almost ready to serve. Chevy has announce the production offering for the 2015 Camaro model year and is already planning the new plant to build gen 6

Isn't going to happen

You talking about the 500 limited edition 2015 CTS-V coupes. (which will become available during the second quarter of this year) The special edition CTS-V will be mechanically identical to the standard CTS-Vs built from 2010-2014.
