Went to the dealer today to price out a 1SS...
Went to a dealer in Georgetown, Texas to price out a 2011 1SS Camaro M6 with the following options:
RS Package Convenience & Connectivity package and black stripes. MSRP on the website and what they quoted me: 34,200. I tried to negotiate price as much as I could and they wouldn't budge below 33,200 w/o TTL. Can I realistically haggle them lower? I tried to look up the invoice pricing on edmunds and found this: http://www.edmunds.com/chevrolet/cam...tyle=101327118 Invoice: 32,674 MSRP: 34,200 True Market Value: 33,558 Is it possible to get near that invoice price or even below? |

Well, We're kinda in the same boat, except I'm getting prices on a LT/RS. So far, I've done all my haggling thru email. I've gotten four out the door quotes today. Of course, I'm wanting to order mine so I don't need to step into a dealership where they hope youll give in to be able to drive off the lot THAT DAY in a Camaro. No? Id say check around town. I've gotten quotes with tax and title from 28616 to 29460.

I was able to get my 1ss at invoice. Try a few dealers and see where you can get the best price.

May be a silly question, but should sales tax in Michigan or tax time filings have any impact on buying from say KY where sales tax is 6%?

Tax is based on the State that you live in. (State the car is registered)
