The 2011 model year will stop production July 1st and then 2012 production will start on the 18th. Like Becky said if the dealer has allocation I don't see why not. I hope that helps.

nothing is wrong with the 2012 v6, but i want a v8 especially after i did a test drive on both cars.

right now there's one dealership that still has allocation for 2011 models, but the dealer is ONLY giving me $400 off MSRP. that's BS !!! i want it lower plus throw in some incentives !!!

It also has much improved suspension, rear back up camera but that is only on the 2ss I believe

finally ORDERED mine TODAY !!!!! 2011 CAMARO 2SS/RS SUMMIT WHITE, automatic, sunroof, high wing spoiler black. no strips yet coz im gonna have it painted. not decided on what kind of stripes but i got 3 designs to choose from.. IM SO EXCITED !!!!!

Placed an order for a 2011 1SS and 2012 1SS Vert on May 27th. Dealer didn't think it would get picked up due to his allocation. Well today it did get picked up for production from GM. It is now at status 2030 while the 2012 is at 1102. Looks like I will be getting my car earlier and one of the last 2011 Convertibles built.

i ordered mine on june 7th, 2011.. the day that Becky@rodgerschevrolet said that it was the last day to custom order 2011s. my dealer placed the order and i got the order number. when i checked the order tracking, it said that the order placed is for 2012. i called them to clarify this and they said that the production already ended, even if they had allocation for 2011s. i spoke to them over the phone but i will go there tomorrow to clarify everything.

if you read my previews post on other threads you would know why im not jumping right away on the 2012 bandwagon. theres too many too re-explain.. but i guess i have to suck it in.. leaning on keeping the 2012. but definitely the dealership is gonna have bad reviews and my rants on them if they dont give me any incentives/compromise for the stress i dealt with goin thru this deal. i should be enjoying this process from the moment i decided to order it

Maybe you should let someone take the instant depreciation hit, buy used, and get the older model you want. Just an idea....
