What info does this require? I can't remember and I'm at work right now and can't view full dealership site from phone.

Generally you will need all of your basic info as well as Social Security #, monthly income, rent/mortgage payment, and any trade-in info. That will allow the dealer to run your credit and get a rough idea of what might work for you.

I'd go into negotiations already pre-approved by someone. It gives you a reference point should they offer you financing (and thus a rate).

Also dont do it more than 30 days before picking your car up. You will have to get re aproved again. I cut it very close with a factory order and made it by one day.

Check with your lending institution. Some have approvals that are good for 30 days others can be good for 60 days.

My CU approval is good for 60 days.
