It's a CUV type front end refresh.

They're diluting the DNA too much; Could now be a Hyundamaro, a Kiamaro or a Toyotamaro. No longer resembles a muscle car to me, euro-ricer influence now too evident. GM will sell sh1tloads of 'em...

Cool

I really don’t know what to say about this refresh. It seems that GM went beyond the spirit of a refresh. I feel the character of the whole car has been significantly affected. Almost all of the muscle car, badass look and feel has been erased. I hope it sells at least well enough so GM doesn’t pull the plug before we get to a new 7th gen. Maybe this 6th gen refresh is a result of the #metoo movement and the stripping away of Camaro’s “toxic masculinity.”

I’ll be sticking with my 5th gens.

Those front turn signal flaps on the SS remind me of the protector flaps on a gladiator helmet. Looks incomplete. Grill louvers an improvement over the nostrils but was never a fan of either. Nothing like the mail slot.

Nothing for you guys to complain about, the pre-2019 resale values just went up...
In my opinion they changed the best styling aspects of the 6th gen. Although I wasnt thrilled with the back end, the tailights were cool. And the front got hit with the ugly stick, hard.

It's subjective & I believe the 2019 SS/RS is beautiful. Leaps & bounds an improvement over the 2016-18.

Actually, I did. I posted as much at the time & it's somewhere on the forum.

Because it's time to move on. The retro design was great for a while, but GM can't endlessly build the same vehicle, especially when younger buyers want a more modern design.

What 5th generation refresh taillight dilemma? The 2014-15 taillights hark back to the 1969 taillights, while making the vehicle appear lower & wider. Quite an improvement.

I definitely will not be trading up anytime soon. I don't like the front fascia or their attempt at the tail lights.

But in my opinion they made my 2013 look even better now.

Also why would they release this on CBS? GM's marketing team must be smoking some good stuff who the f*** watches CBS that is in market for Camaros.

A 2.0 1LE? Way to ruin the 1LE GM. It should have been kept as a unique upgrade to the SS only. Talk about milking it.

That front end refresh is really bad, like really really bad. The car lost a lot of its character and heritage with this redesigned front end. It doesn't look like a Camaro anymore.

Move on to what? Looking like every late model CUV import? Camaro has heritage and you have follow those design rules.

I agree. The 2014-15 tailights did improve the looks of the car and updated it somewhat. I'm not too fond of the LED version which did look a little too Honda Prelude like, but the regular three segmented ones look like the '69's which goes along with the 1st gen retro design theme of the 5th gen.
