Who all wants to do the Cruise? Vote!

This being my second Camaro Fest, I was simply amazed at the cruise for CF3. Maybe because it was my first cruise , but I'd like to see it for next years fest. I understand next year is more of a "relaxed" setting but to be honest those who didn't want to participate was able to stay back and relax. I'd say if anything have the cruise earlier in the day so it doesn't conflict with folks cleaning their cars preparing for the car show? Just an idea. Either way I'm excited and looking forward to next years fest!

I think it's more of a hassle than it's worth. You have to have police escorts and then weaving 500 cars through traffic is difficult. BUT...I loved every moment.

It was dangerous. I'm surprised there weren't any accidents. There were plenty of mini cruises going on that whole weekend though. Outback Steakhouse, Logan's, etc.

That would be awesome to cruise the Brickyard but I believe it was brought up last year and just isn't feasible. But if its possible it would be extremely fun.

Not really into the cruise, missed it last year since I got there late and the horror stories are enough to steer me away.

Oh there were accidents. I am glad I stayed away from it. Chillin at the hotel pool was worth it.

Accidents at the cruise ? I dont think so, but we sure could have done away with the hazard flashers.
It's strange Camaros don't have brake lights when those flashers are on.

The cruise did get hairy at times. There were others ziping in and out of the caravan without a care in the world.I think I used my brakes more during the cruise than in the last three years.

Only if we could do it at the Brickyard. Maybe, they would have to have 4 or 5 groups and each group limited to 33 cars.

No. There were no accidents during the cruise, thank God. There were plenty of close calls. But no accidents. There was a report of a cracked windshield from a rock, but that was all.

Yes, there were accidents from others coming TO the hotel from a Virginia group??...I think it was?

Again, none during the cruise.

I did not go last year because of the accidents in Camarovans on the way to the fest & other issues I have seen, heard of or been involved in on similar cruises (ie: club cruises, Somernights powercruise, etc). It is just not safe. There is plenty of other fun to be had. I'd rather spend that socializing with my Camaro Comrads.

Cruises can be a lot of fun, but 500 cars? Around Indy?? Not an easy deal.
Watched the cars leave the hotel this year. Took almost 30 minutes for everybody to get out. I'd scratch it and spend the money on a second road course at the track, etc.

The idea of a parade lap of the IMS would definitely get my interest. But that'll cost too. It would be cool to line up those 500 camaros on the front mile and do a slow lap or two behind a bunch of Pace Car camaros. (without flashers on)

honestly the cruise sucked. you never did more than 40 mph, there were accidents the cops were not properly directing the cruise, traffic was insanity. if there is going to be something i say the brickyard! lets try and get it done this year
