Ok, I'm blind. CosmicTrucker is correct- watch the video. What is seen is still pretty lame IMO for "ABL". The Camaro ABL (shown below courtesy of StoutFiles) is much more pronounced. Honestly I thought the "lip" of light around the dash and spots on the floor in the shots above was camera flash or an outside source - reflection in the still photos.

The ABL used in the Camaro is completely unique and has never been done before.

But if the the CTS uses ABL across the dash, then there are no violations for using the ABL across the dash in the Camaro. SO now we know that they cant use that as an excuse if they did.
Besides, where is that second dimmer switch now, i cant find it in any of the 2LT or 2SS cars, they all have one dmmer roll but that wasnt the case before
P.S tha ABL looks the same but without acrylic panels to glow, but it seems like the same outline technique theyre using in the Camaro

Well I already own a vette and truthfully I rarely get on it. I like the luxury items like hud and heated seats ect... I'm close to 50yo and just won't be using that much hp that often, I want my ABL daggummit!!

True. A rep. with Cheryl in San Diego in July stated to onlookers it was brand new technology, never before used by GM. So, it's not what you see in the CTS, or any other GM car.

Look the way I see it's like with I see it with the HUD being delayed. I would love a HUD, but if I have the money before it's avaible, I'm buying. Why? Because I'm genuinly afraid that the V8 will be gone soon, and I'd much rather have a V8 instead of a supercharged V6 or something with HUD.

So basically if I can get ABL, cool, if not, okay.
