2SS - No jack or tools?

I took delivery of my 2SS without a spare tire, but should it have come with the jack and tools anyway?

My car has no jack or tools, and the owner's manual is unclear as to wether they should have come stock with the car even though there is no spare.

We're better off not having what most cars come with as far as jacks go anyways. If you're really concerned, buy a quality jack and a stand to have in your trunk, but it won't do a whole lot of good without a spare...

Many thanks guys. I was going to install Gorilla locks today and try-out the jack and tools. Surprise! No jack or tools.

I'll use my floor jack and 1" deep socket...

It's these little surprises that keep us guessing and interested

Why do you need a floor jack to install the Gorilla locks? I bought a cool folding 4-bar lug wrench I keep in the car. I put all 20 locks on with no floor jack. Just do 1 at a time

Um..don't you just need to put one lock on each wheel? Talk about protection.

The Camaro comes with the ulitimate tool that most other cars don't have. "ON STAR"!!!

Because it takes a whole 5 seconds to get one off, all you need is a hammer and 4 spare sockets (as the socket is now ruined plus the lugs get stuck in the socket and most often can't be taken out). With 20 locks, it takes 5 times as long, is 5 times as hard, and not many thieves are going to waste 20 sockets just to get a set of wheels off when they car just find 4 other cars and steal theirs.
