Guys, you can always tell the dealer NOT to install them untill you lay them on the car and see for yourself....if it is too late to change your orders.

I just cancelled mine. I am just gonna maybe order me a set of black hockey stipes seperatly thru GM.

That's going to look pretty hideous on those Bumblebee Yellow w/ Black striped cars...

I was torn between the bumblebee car and the one I ordered, Black with white stripes. I is clear to me now that I made the better choice, in my opinion of course.

I don't see these rally stripes as being flat. Does anyone else think these are flat. If so then I have no idea what glossy means then.

That is what this entire thread is about. Rally stripes are flat black. I am going to have to cancel mine because flat black won't last here in AZ. The sun will DESTROY them.

Doesn't matter really I guess. I'm stuck with buying them now. I won't have them installed but I'll be looking for other options. I think flat (or something like flat) will look good on black, white, silver, maybe even RJT, but not on IOM. Personal preference I guess. Waiting for those pictures...

Those are CGM stripes not black. CGM is glossy.

Those are CGM stripes. They are gloss. We are saying only the BLACK stripes are flat

You can't. The decals are covered in a film that you can't remove until the stripes on put on the car or you ruin the decals.

This sucks,

I ordered 2SS/RS IOM with black rally stripes. Changing tomorrow to either CGM stripes or having them painted on. When having them painted on do the sand down the original paint or can they airbrush the stripes over the existing clearcoat? Would hate to mess with the paint.

My solution: i really wanted black stripes so what i might do is get two black stripes on the fenders, go aftermarket, or paint them i laready have a guy who can do it (would you give him the dimensions for the stripes?)
