Not for $2,500! Some strange advice here. I’ll pile on...sell all your cars and buy a boat.

This is another string but that Z28 is basically a high-powered track car. A Camaro buddy bought one because his Chevy dealer kept calling him to make a deal. He owned a business so they knew he had the cash and they could not get rid of the thing. They were priced as high as a Vette. The resale on them is crap! The ZL1 is a better car. I'd keep your 13 ,it looks better in my opinion, unless if that 15 was an 1LE or an ZL1.

I think it's cheaper to chrome what I have but if I pay $100 a wheel and not sure if they will bend them or the chrome will last might as well buy new wheels. I'm going to go with 19" aftermarket as you suggest. I didn't take what he said to mean he doesn't like or respect the Z28. It's just factual that paying $75000 new for one and having it drop to $38000 now is a beating. I would add that it seems ZL1's and Z28's have held their value in the last year so buying a low mi used one isn't a bad idea financially if that's what you like. Faster around a road course, but a ZL1 will stomp a Z/28 in the 1/4.
Different strokes for different folks.

A Z/28 with FI, a big cam and e85 would be badass!

Yeah it would. Lots of cubes, great suspension, 300 lbs lighter than the ZL1... I'd go with the ZL1 for a straight up drag race though. On second thought, nah, I'll stick with my SS...the difference in the price tag will get me lots more goodies.

It would be something different, that's for sure. Going FI on a track car kind of defeats the purpose though. That thing would heatsoak, pull time and be in trouble.
