Judging by how few there were available in the SJ/SF area (millions of people) when I went to order mine can't be that many. I always see 2 or 3 ZL1s at the local "stealer"ship... They even have 1 Hennessy? Camaro they are trying to sell for like $53K. They said they sold a few 1LE before mine but not many.

Try total members vs total 5th Gens and you'll see a much different ratio.
They may or may not correlate anyway... |

The answer I got from Camarofest was they didn't know the build numbers, but the 1LE had come in a little higher than they expected. The 1LE wasn't marketed but has been increasing in popularity.

Contrary to popular belief, dealers were reluctant to order these for retail stock. They had ZL1s sitting unsold, so no motivation to stock another performance model.
