M6 Clutch Sensor Bypass

Help!

I've got an appointment scheduled for Friday to have my Autopage C3 RS1100 installed in my 2012 with TR6060. I was going to pull the clutch switch plug and make a loop to plug in to it temporarily (I'm designing and fabbing a neutral safety switch that goes under the boot on the shifter) and from what I am reading, it's a 3 wire resistance based PCM monitored sensor.

Can anyone advise me on how to disable the clutch position switch?

I'm certainly open to brain storming.

Here is my only thought. You take an output of the Autopage that is active when remote start is preparing to start and run it to the 86 on a relay. Ground 85. Supposedly the clutch position sensor is a potentiometer so I'm not really sure how to wire up resistors to mimic the clutch sensor's resistance.

The idea is that when the remote start was active (ran off of one of the ACC outputs of the Autopage), the PCM would be getting the correct signals back indicating that the clutch was depressed. Then when the remote start is deactivated (typically by pressing the brake...but I have also wired them up to ignition outputs), normal clutch monitoring would occur so that the cruise would remain functional.

Thoughts?

Upon further thought, it's probable that the sensor in the pedal up position is not opening the circuit. There is likely a level of resistance at both positions and the resistance of the pedal up position will need to be calculated into the inline resisters from the relay as the relay circuit would be parallel.
