You may want to remove the top stuff then so that you can get to the clips. They all go different directions. The link I sent didn't seem like it would be that difficult. When you get one loose, you may want to use a shim or something wrapped in a cloth so that you can work on the other side without the free side clipping back into place.

Have a rear Sparks SS emblem and would like to get one for the front-2010 stock egg crate design. What is involved with the install. I assumed I have to remove the bow tie by pulling the panel under the hood and unclip the horiz and vertical tabs on the rear of the bowtie but I see some instructions say 1/2 hour-just bolt from the rear. Is it easier than I thought?

I removed mine about 10 hrs ago to get customized, fingers are still numb. Start from one side, pushing up on the clip, and a bunch of groaning and pullin, and hoping it doesn't break something, it will finally pop out.SS

I'm a pretty strong guy, and I couldn't budge this thing. It was flexing the entire front clip, so I'm a little amazed you guys got this thing off. I'm going to try the gloves, as the bowtie did cut up my hands....
did anyone remove the little red ss? I haven't really looked but how does it come off?

LMAO. I've never felt as weak as I did when I was trying to get this thing off. Just make sure you apply pressure to the clips on the back while you're trying to work it off.
