I love my Z, couldn`t leave it stock O well. Once you drive it you will never go back. So if you have doubts don`t drive it. This car is amazing in performance! You and only you can decide, if you have to ask you really don`t want it. I bought mine new and had NO second thoughts paying sticker for her. YOu will have a factory warranty on yours with only 2100 miles if you bought it so your still good. Now for as the tires, they are horrible to drive daily..NO tread and don`t work well with anything but oval track driving.

Walk into a Chevy dealership and I think you'd get that same deal or maybe even better one a brand new ZL1 off the showroom floor. Really like to know the original sticker price of the ZL1. Blk on Blk with Exposed Carbon Fiber Hood Insert. Manual or Auto? NAV or any other add-ons? If you/they don't have the sticker it's pretty easy to add it all up and get the real numbers. Chevy.com has a build your own feature where you just plug in all the options and it gives you a final number, gas guzzler tax included. It does not include sales tax, so I would factor that in as well because you don't pay sales tax on the trade-in dollars.

If you're asking if the 48k price is a good deal, its not good but not bad. The rest of it is your own financing decision.

I would say that is a darn good price, based on what they are currently going for at dealer auctions, which is low $50's.

If you really want it then buy it. I would walk away and sit down and seriously consider what you are trying to do financially. Can you sell your cars for more cash? Why not save money and buy a new vehicle? I personally never fall in love with the car at first sight, at at least not in front of the dealer.

All ZL1s have a Carbon Fiber hood insert.

The option is for the Carbon Fiber hood insert to have its Carbon Fiber weave exposed under a clear coat. The standard Carbon Fiber hood insert is simply painted with a solid Ashen Gray color.

The Exposed Carbon Fiber weave hood insert is a $600 option.

Only you can determine if taking on $63K in debt for a car is appropriate for you and your current lifestyle. My own policy is to finance a vehicle only when a good interest rate is available and to finance only an amount less or equal to that which I have liquid resources to cover so that I can payoff the loan at any time I choose.

$48k is a heck of a deal, but if getting rid of your 45th is gonna put you up to $63k you might as well forget it. No bank is going to sign off on that deal unless you're putting most of that $15k you'd be losing with a down payment.

That's too much negative equity for me to deal with. yes you could save some money each month with 1 payment, but how much longer do you have on these 2 payments? the 10 should be a good ways paid by now. the 12 prob not. just doesn't seem like a smart move.

$48k for a '13 ZL1 isn't a good deal? You must be smokin some of the finest herb around.

Not to jack this thread but what about a used Zl1 with mods? Like CAI, tune, and exhaust. Would that be a good idea???

48k is a good deal but the negative equity makes it a bad deal. Just my thoughts.
