I've just sent everyone on the list a PM. Please take a look and let me know what y'all think.

I gotta hurry up and pay so I don't get bumped off the list.
I will need to get new tires before then. I currently run BFG Rivals 285/35/20 squared. What do you experienced drivers use? My car is not a DD but would like DOT tires. Thx.

if you can pick the days you drive it, ie not cold or raining, the Goodyear F1 are very good.

I'm ready to go 19" but I can't decide on wheels. I really want the z28 wheels but it doesn't look like that will be doable on my '11 car. ForgeLine are my next choice but the sticker price plus long wait are a deterrent. Mainly the wait. I want good wheels not just 19" wheels. I don't want to make this purchase again.

While I don't want to get too far off track....No pun intended. LOL I would agree with the Goodyear Supercar G2's. I can't wait to get my winter rubber off and get G2's back on. Surprises of all surprizes....The dealer is the cheapest place I've found to buy G2's. Discount Tire wants $275 each and the dealer wants $235 each. The dealer wants about $60 to mount/balance all four but that still makes them cheaper.

My car is a daily driver here in Austin. The G2's aren't great in the wet and you cannot use them in the winter period. That said. My 1LE ripped around Driveway Austin's short course like a cat on carpet and I was surprised at how well they held up. Better yet, you can put them on your existing 20" rims and not need a second set.....until winter......LOL

The Forgelines are worth the wait!

I agree, at 20" it is tough to beat the G2 at the track. 19" however is a different ball game. If you are going 19" to get a sticky track tire, then you need to think about a dry sump...lots of opinions on this topic (but there's probably a reason it is stock in the z28). I look at the G2s as a fun track tire and an insurance policy for my motor which doesn't have a dry sump.

Good to go.

I just dropped my baby at the dealer for them to deal with a couple issues. It always gives me a sick feeling to leave her with them.

I know they do during open track time. Not too sure about during a class. I would think not.
