Here you go. I'd do my homework and find the shop with the best reputation. A little drive never hurt to find quality work, not saying there arnt good shops in Tampa, just don't count places out because of a little drive.

Hey chris, I used powertech a few times before I left Florida and they seemed to have done good work. You have a cam in mind?

Not sure what cam I'm getting yet. Still in research mode. I'm gonna call & visit some recommended shops. What's a ballpark price for a cam install?

Phil at Tampa Tuning, he's been around a long time and is good people. He's helped us out when we've been to Bradenton to race and were in a pinch.

Had phil tune car a few times since I bought it and added mods but he doesn't do installs. Staying busy enough with tuning it looks like.

There are a couple of shops here in Orlando. Kings performance has done good work in my turbo and supercharged 4 bangers. I can vouche for them. They work on a lot of gtr, honda, and mustangs. They also tune SCT and Diablo. I wouldn't be surprise if they can work in our easy to workon pushrod engines. There is also next level performance in Altamonte springs, they are specialized in vettes and camaros.

Fasterproms and talk to Jeremy. Experienced and knows what he's doing. By far best performance shop I know of in the Tampa Bay Area.

I've used Joe at Powertech Performance for two builds now. They are an LS specialist, and you'll know it as soon as you walk by the garage. It's all Camaro's Corvette's and CTS V's. I can't say enough positive about the place. They are a great team.

Call Joe at 727-573-0988. Tell him the guy with the big red beard sent you, actually maybe you shouldn't he might charge you double
