Is there a way to modify what default image is used instead of the MyLink image?

I get so tired of looking at the MyLink image with the Chevy logo. Is there a way we can upload a different image to use instead?

I've wondered the same thing but haven't taken the time to research or ask. So many other things to research regarding a Camaro, this one just kind of slipped to the back ground.

Hell, I'd be happy if my outside temp gauge worked right on the MyLink! :P

How do you tell it's not working right? I know, after installing my gauge set the Ambient Air on the gauge reads 4-10 degrees higher than the Mylink displays. I'd like to know where the sensor is for either reading.

I'll agree with that. I'll have to look and see where it is mounted as it is usually 7+ degrees too high in the summer.

I'm pretty sure you can put a picture of a Mustang on there so it looks like its always behind you LOL but thats it. No there isn't any way that I'm aware of.

I know some of the SS guys posted about having theirs changed to the Holden logo, but not sure how they do it. Might want to search the Chevy SS boards, may have info of how it was done.

Topic was exhausted a few years ago but never a solid method that I ever learned of. I wish...

Yea I agree it would be nice being able to change the background.
On the temperature thing though mine is spot on when I compare it to my phone weather app so I'm not sure why yours would be so far off.

As I was driving by a bank temp display this morning all 3 (bank, mylink and gauge) were within 1 degree difference. I reckon it's more about how radiant temps effect the car. I would've thought my gauges are using the same sensor the Mylink uses but it appears it doesn't because later in the day after the sun has been out a while they (gauge and mylink) can separate by more than 4 degrees.

This. Our car's don't have Thermometers. They have Thermistors, which are extremely accurate and usually their readings are impacted by re-radiated heat from the road surface/direct environment.

Do you know where those thermistors are located?

Don't see the image here or in other thread from my work PC. I'll have a look when I get home. Do you think the output from this one device is displayed on the mylink and my gauge set?
