Had to trade my Camaro ...

Heh all,

After undergoing therapy for 6 months as a result of a work related shoulder injury, the 3rd dr. I went to said I needed to consider surgery.

An inflamed rotator cuff tendon wouldn't resolve itself, and an MRI showed that a bone spur is probably why. So I'm having surgery soon, and the dr. said driving a stick would be out of the question for quite a while.

Seeing how the Camaro is my only vehicle, I had to trade it and look for something comparable that had rebates as well (to help offset the loss of unloading a 10 month old car).

So this is what I got ...

A 2011 Mustang 305 hp v6 with an automatic. LOL

I met a lot of nice people here. Wishing everyone the best ...

frank

Ironically I got run over by a Mustang when the driver ran a stop sign last year about a month before I ordered my car. Since my left arm was shattered into a bunch of peices it was kinda difficult to work a manual, so L99 it was. Luckily my therapy after surgery was only 2 months, hope everything works out for you and your shoulder. At least you still have a cool car to live with.

That's Bullsh=t. I was just told my left knee needs surgury to fix many years of abuse. I am in a leg brace that will not allow me to get in and out of the Camaro. Wife asked what if i was going to sell the Camaro. I said NO WAY. I bought a super clean 93 F150 XLT with 57K actual miles. I tricked it out with dual flowmasters, keyless alarm and some other goodies. I figure about 3 months before i can roll in the Camaro. She now sits in the Garage, freshly detailed and covered waiting for me. Where there is a will there is a way.
I suspect the OP could have traded for an auto Camaro to fix his issue or he could have bought an older automatic something to drive for a while. He bought a Mustang because he wanted a Mustang, and that's ok, but MAN UP and admit it.
Nothing bugs me more than someone who won't stand up and tell the truth as to why they make the decisions they make. That is why............. I call BULLSH=T.
