How much did the conversion run you, and what all did you need to replace? I'm guessing you either traded or sold the old stuff?
I had done an LS3 conversion already before the cam went bad.

I have an auto tranny. I'm expecting the engine to produce around 800 so 650 ish to the wheels.

Was 558 at the wheels and I lowered the compression a little, went with a bigger cam and forged the internals to run more boost safely.

I"m not going to go after 650 but keep it safely done. I may be a little short but not too much.

Yup. It's all done but I have to put the coil packs and blower on. Won't get my new valve cover bolts till tomorrow and then I can put it all together and start it up hopefully.

A pic of the coil packs. I decided to paint them orange.

Pic of my oil pressure gauge mounted to the valve cover too.

That would be a dream come true. But I do not know how to tune a car and I am just not knowledgeable enough.

You can use LS2 valve cover bolts in an LS3.

But you have to pry the sleeve off of each old bolt and slide the valve cover holes and then insert the bolt. Worked great.

Haha, Took the blower back off to get ported. So numbers next weekend. Turns out I'd have had to wait anyway.

Oh so now I can bitch slap you for not helping me out. I think just for that you and Bonnie have to take next Saturday off and come to Thomasville. I tell you I have never had so much fun as hitting 100MPH on a city street with a sheriff escort. Bring the Vette baby.

Was going to get them last weekend but plans changed once that clip became obvious. Plus deciding to have the blower/intake manifold ported.

I'm missing a tranny cooler fluid line retainer clip. At the radiator. OOOOPS..... lol
