How far did you drive to attend C5FIII?

I wanted to go, real bad. But I'm in CA and just couldn't forsee making that drive. What I want to know, is how many of you from the West side of the US actually made the drive to Indianapolis?... and how far was it for you?? Was it worth the miles on your car round trip?

Nevertheless...looking forward to next year, but sporting TT's by then! (actually in a week!!)

I drove 1033 miles straight through to there just so I could have the parking lot party Friday Saturdays events and leave on Sunday morning to drive 1033 miles back. Was worth every mile and I was only there 1 day.

We have a little plane, so, since we don't have a Camaro yet to drive , we flew in from CO. Hubby, son, and I all enjoyed it. It was cool just to wander around and see all the Camaros, and the love and mods the owners had put into them.

Seeing all the work done by vendors, I'd think it's worth it to drive out to eliminate shipping charges and have the orig vendor do the work, in addition to all the camaroderie <<custom C5 spelling

Plus, in this case, it was at Indy! No better place for those who love cars, IMO. And we got a special sneak peek at the Hot Wheels Camaro at the Children's Museum since we had to head out Fri night.

I left last spring so I've been in NY for a little over a year now. I have the ABM vortech car, I lived down in San Diego when i was there. Guillermo said he was gonna hook me up with a race team sticker after how I represented the family this weekend going to the finals in both Auto X and drags...
