Might be a little hurt but I went to the strip in some good air and ran a new best. If only my 60 was better on this pass.

I have a paxton 1500 maxed out on mine now @ around 15lbs. Just bought a billet ysi and debating on whether to put it on before i at least put some forged rods/pistons in because we both know how addictive boost is haha

Yes it is. Especially with turbos and an electronic boost controller. Its as easy as a press of a button.

I have not. The only issue I have excessive crankcase pressure, but only when I'm running it hard will it show any oil in places it shouldn't be.

Edit: After thinking about it a bit, I now see where your coming from. I'll have to check those out.

I have it tore down to the shortblock and so far no signs of anything. Cylinder walls look good from what I can see. Going to be busy the next couple of weeks but after thanksgiving Ill be able to get the rest of the motor tore down.

I thought i posted but i guess i didn't so heres an update:

After removing the pistons I noticed a few cracks on the ring lands on the pistons out of cylinder 3 and 5.

I thought to myself, "Wow, close call" but i didnt realize how close it was until i removed the rings and this just fell out.

I'm glad that nothing further happened. Cylinder walls looked fine. The motor is currently at the machine shop getting the cylinders honed and some forged Wiseco pistons and Callies compstar h-beams put in along with new main bearings and arp main studs.

Here is what ive picked up so far this winter.
Wiseco -3cc pistons 4.07 bore
Callies Compstar H-Beams
Texas Speed custom cam specd by Pat G
Texas Speed dual valve spring kit
Melling 10295 high pressure oil pump
Mighty Mouse "Wild" Catch Can

Things I need yet(waiting on the bill from the machine shop first):
Misc. bolts and gaskets to reassemble the rest of the motor
LS7 Lifter set
CHE Trunion upgrade
ARP head studs
3 bolt cam sprocket
Transmission and required parts and modifications. I sold my TR6060 so now I will be going auto. Either 4l80 or th400. Im getting the engine build taken care of first. Ill need the trans, converter, trans mount, driveshaft, shifter, computer if going 4l80, trans cooler, and the required modifications to my agp kit to make everything fit. Car might not be ready for spring but when it is it will be a different animal. Goal is a 9 second daily driver.
