Ok so what kind of iat sensor do i need like off of what oem gm car

I read somewhere on another forum that some iat sensors read different and it may need to be adjusted in the tune

108165 I think. I cant remember and cant access my account history. I did nothing to the tune. Just installed the iat and harness.

I bought the wrong one originally and just exchanged them when I realized the error. All it cost me was a few more days waiting on the right one.,

So will any gm iat sensor work? I work at a gm dealership so i guess i need to find out which ones are threaded. Ive read cyclone/typhoons and 3rd gen fbody iats are threaded

I used a 2002 Camaro IAT sensor, which I posted a picture of the part numbers.

You can use a push in or thread in one. Depending on the sensor, the tune may need to be adjusted for the new temp/resistance curve.

No I drilled a hole and used the rubber Grommet that came with the sensor. The same one that's in the pictures. But it has to be a tight fit so it won't blow off under boost.
