You realize that the odds of winning are the same as being mauled by a polar bear and a regular bear in the same day.

But I've got a ticket too.

....great interview, Mr. O was very confident.......I for one can't wait for the debut! I liked the part about the signed poster and keep 'em in the rear view mirror..heh-heh.... No hyperbole, just high performance. Now, what about the price....let's get on with the release! I am still all psyched up for this hot ride..

Loved it except this part
"The 3rd and 4th generations strayed away from road racing"
Pretty sure the 1LE started in the 3rd gen and who remember's IROC???? International Race Of Champions. Yeah that was the racing event that used Camaro's from 75-90 and from 85-90 Camaro's were licensed to be sold with the IROC name Winners included 1989 Terry Labonte, 1988 Al Unser, Jr., 1987 Geoffrey Bodine, 1986 Al Unser, Jr. and in 1985 Harry Gant. If you were the best of the best you were invited to this. There were IROC Camaro's on the streets from 1985-1990. Maybe she needs to do some actual research on the history of a car

You are correct. And it is. Not by price, but by it's multi role, multi function, multi faceted capability. It crosses all boundaries of performance and comfort. The pinacle of Chevy engineering to be able to do everything, and the emphasis is on everything, so well. The Z/28 will be a one dimentional road course brawler. And it will fill that role exceedingly well, and it's price will reflect that.

Awesome interview. I don't know about you guys, but this made me very excited. I'm having second thoughts about my '14 1LE now and kind of want a Z28 instead! Man that thing is bad ass!!!

Exactly! Right now the tires and brakes fall outside guidelines if I am not mistaken. Lots to spend on a car that won't pass inspection for most sanctioned races. If they can get the organizations to redefine quidelines, then we'll see. But til then you are looking at a 7.0 litre motor that also is outside guidelines. Super car..... like you say for the HPDE fellas! Just not sure I'd want to get a car I intended to race that fell outside so many specs.

Hope you can get 1 of the few hundred.
