LED Switchback Turn Signals?

Im thinking about installing these because It seems nice to have white LEDs instead of the yellow, except when using turn signal, but im worried about adding a resister to the original wiring to prevent hyper flashing, Can I install these without the resister and still use them? Just have faster blinking front directions?

Yep, confirmed. I've had them for years and never put the load resistors in. I like the 'hyper flash'... fast car, fast turn signals, lol.

Well, you will have the DIC letting you know that there's something 'off' with your left, then your right... but then you hit the menu button until you get your spedo back on display and it doesn't bug you again... that is, until you turn your car off and then on again.

Unfortunately, this is the only downfall to that. No constant lights on, however. If you can live with clearing the messages on the DIC when you turn your car on (pushing the button twice), then you're good.

Otherwise, install the load resistors...

VLEDS makes a nice switchback kit with built in control boxes. Plug and play no hyper flashing.

What's a switchback turn signal? I'm too lazy to google despite being only 2 keystrokes away from it, lol.

Any pics/vids?

Turn signal drls are White LEDs except when you use your blinker, then they are yellow or amber. Pretty cool if you ask me

1) It's not an RS and has aftermarket HIDs/Halos
2) It is an RS and he swapped the red SS for a white/silver one.

I believe he has a non-RS with clean/stock looking HIDS/halos.
