We still are using a 2" core, but there is room to go wider with 14 rows of tubes. The stock maggie brick is 11 functional rows, 5 on one pass and 6 on the other, not ideal at all. Plus it is a bar and plate style, which restricts flow across the core because of the square edges. I switched to the 12 row prototype we did first and gained a little boost due to just that. The 14 row I am about to put in also has more fins per inch for better heat transfer as well. It also sits about 1/4" higher off the manifold floor. Ill post a few pics.

Glad to see my old intercooler I sent you and Thomas for testing has paid off.

I commented on your picture. Where did you buy the inlet? How hard was the install?

Yes, thank you, and at this point I have several, both new and old, just laying around from various round of testing. Manifolds, snouts, blower housings, parts everywhere, lol.

We will be doing back to back testing soon, and releasing full information, unlike what is currently available for the LC32. Ours works well but we don't have official numbers at this time.
Really interested in the information on your inlet. Please keep us updated.

I'm looking forward to hear how your 14 row does and the pricing, would certainly like to upgrade from the stock plate design.

Sorry been out of town for the holidays.

4 Bolts, nothing hard about the install at all, the number where to buy is already posted or you could wait on the similar design 2012LS3VERT is coming out with soon, I bet it will be cheaper, all I know is the way it's design increases the efficiency of the Maggie big time.

Ours will likely be a little cheaper if I had to guess. They do take a whole day to machine just one from solid aluminum, we are looking at other options. We just want to get solid chassis dyno numbers to determine if the HP per dollar is worth making them from billet, or if we need to go another route such as Carbon Fiber or thermoplastic like the stock intake manifolds.

I'm currently having piston ring blowby issues on our test car/motor, or I would have tested the new intercooler core and snout by now. Just trying to get that ironed out before blasting it on the dyno.

Really interested in this. Some of these numbers I see on Maggie's are a little ehhh, and I feel this inlet mod really helps out. And I would also like info on the price for the intercooler.

Any pictures of your new intercoolers yet?

If the 14 row sits a 1/4" higher off the manifold floor...... doesn't this mean the intercooler brick isn't as thick? I'm definitely interested in a better intercooler, but already sit a 1/2" off the manifold floor with the RDS thermal spacer..... so don't need to sit any higher to get better flow. Curious about any tests before/after.
