Things should be a little easier in July as the days are longer giving me a much better chance to complete a lap in the daylight.

I usually run in the watch paint dry class or in the watch grass grow class.

Don't cut yourself short. You caught the troopers attention at the dragon

Of course, this was taken from the wristband item description (I will add it to the Road Course page, now)
  • Beginner: Little to no track experience. First time at NCM MSP
  • Novice: Some track day experience; familiar with flags & passing rules. First time at NCM MSP
  • Intermediate: Moderate track day experience; very familiar with flags & passing rules.
  • Advanced: Regularly participates in HPDE's.

I'd be happy to clarify more if you'd like.
Hm, I didn't see the description of the classes before registering and registered as Novice...thinking I might be closer to Intermediate now. I was at NCM for CamaroFest VI and have done a track day at Watkins Glen as well as a bunch of driving at Exotics Racing in Vegas. Not sure if I should worry about changing it (if it's possible) or just let it ride in Novice.

Doesn't matter either way, just excited to finally get back on the track...this has been a long winter up here in NJ

No big deal...we can bump you up to Intermediate that day if you remind me...otherwise, you could do the first session with the novice group, and if that's not quite right, you can ask to switch groups afterwards.

We always reserve the right to perform these class switches based on the coaches and corner marshal's input...up or down.
