Went to Fresno SCCA autocross at Castle Air Force base. Nicely laid out fairly long track that seemed to work well for the high horsepower cars. Got five runs in on the concrete surface. My new Michelin Pilot Super Sports were very grippy. One other Camaro5 member there...can't remember his name.

Steve, I want to run in the 6/1 event at Marina. It says they they only do the tech inspection once a year. Is that going to be a problem? What class is the ZL1 in?

No problem, that's just means you only have to pass tech once. They can tech your car the day of the event.

Last two events of the year for the American Auto-X Series coming up in a couple of weeks at Marina. The courses were really fast last weekend and the next two promise to be even faster. I'm clinging onto 1st place by 20 points with my buddy Jake on my tail in his c6 Corvette. It's going to come down to the final day and final run.
