Radar Detectors
Since I purchased my ZL1 I find myself speeding more...imagine that!
Can anyone recommend a good detector? |

I've got 9500ix. From what I hear can't go wrong with this or V1. It's personal preference as both haves pros and cons

V1 saved me many many times even with instant on. You have to instanly get on the brakes for that, then they can't get a lock.

Valentine 1 is the way to go in my opinion; all of my cars are fitted with a unit. Situational awareness is key in preventing a ticket, and with the V1, you know the general vicinity of where the police are hiding. Attached is a picture of my V1 that I hardwired in my ZL1 vert. It has saved me several times already, plus I think it looks clean.

Everything I read favors the v1 with outstanding range and rear facing detecting capability. Will probably go that route.Where are you getting your power from in your install?
