Not sure why I didn't think of this before. Hudson Valley and downstate have a forum located in ny5thgen.com. you might wanna check them out.

Hey SoChrisB,

I did join NY5THGEN and i have seen the forum for Hudson Valley. I could be off base here but based on how active that forum thread is and how Long Island centered NY5HTGEN is, i felt it would be better to just advertise here. No disrespect to NY5THGEN, Long Island is just a longer/more difficult drive for a lot of people in the lower Hudson Valley.

I did not see the downstate thread but i would imagine if its on NY5 its not that active and may very well just be another long island group.

I haven't been on there in over a year since I moved up to Rochester. Agreed, most of NY5thgen is mostly NYC/LI.

Completely forgot about this show. Saw it on the north jersey thread. Right over the border in mahwah NJ. Not a hot rod guy myself but wouldn't mind meeting and driving over to the show with some local C5 folks.

i was in the same boat. One day i was watching "chasing classic cars" with Dennis Gage and sure enough he was at a hot rod show in Mahwah NJ with thousands of cars.... could not believe i never heard of it before.

Worst part is my SS might be down for some time this weekend if my parts show up by Friday and I have a jobsite about 10 minutes from there.

Annual show, this year benefiting a child with Davidoff Dyke Mason Syndrome. Small show but hosted at the beautiful Bowline Point Park on the Hudson River. I am planning on being there around 9:00 am. Anyone interested in meeting up and entering the show let me know so we can arrange parking together.

Figures, My car will be out of commission again for sometime this Saturday...

. Funny, I worked with one of the companies that built Haverstraw Bay Park right up the road from there.

I actually worked for the Haverstraw Parks Dept. for many summers right out of Bowline and i am very familiar with the county park up the street. If anything changes let me know. I might be heading over with a friend even though he will be bringing his BMW

Well its getting to be that time of year and i have seen a bunch of you guys out on the roads! Lets consider this my first attempt to get some traction under the wheels of the LOHUDC5 movement for 2017. As always my sights are set far in the future on September's ADK Nationals in Lake George. In the short term, i will propose a cruise followed by cars and coffee for April 29th. Cruise Start - In/around Nyack NY up the PIP through Harriman State Park terminating at the Panera Bread/Walmart in Monroe NY. I am definitely flexible and open to any suggestions. Hope to hear from a bunch of you!

I'm gonna take the ZL1 out for a spin with them. Supposed to be a nice cruise.
