Top bolt access on m6 transmission

I’m in the middle of taking out my 2011 SS m6 transmission but can’t get the top bolt of the transmission out. I have a Magnuson Heartbeat supercharger installwd on the too casing is hit the engine bay firewall/cowl, which is giving me very little access to that top bolt.

Has anyone successfully gotten that bold out with the Heartbeat installed?
Any ideas?

Thanks

I have a whipple on mine and have had the trans out several times. The best soluution is to seperate the frame and body a little to gain access for a long extension from back by the trans with a swivel on the socket.

I have the car jacked up on stands at the body and use several jacks to control lowering the frame some. Loosen all six frame bolts completely, reinstall about three turns to use the bolts to keep everything aligned. once the bolts are set, control the jacks to lower the frame until it is touching all the bolts again and you should gain enough access without losing alignment.

Using a jack to control the rear of the trans will help also as lowering that some with this process will help change the angle some.

Reverse the process to put it back together.
