Last we heard, production is begining in October, a limited run for testing and evaluation purposes. and nothing definate about pricing but here is what we think http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2799. We should know better by the time the full line of Challengers gets released.

And welcome to the site.

What did you do to get it up to 300? I have not dynoed mine after the head and intake work I've done to mine, but I'm assuming she has somewhere on the rounds of 250.

im with you...i dont need all the fancy crap, that just boosts the price. i might go without power seats as well. my dad has a c6 and got the manual top, its so easy and nice, you dont even need the automatic, just adds weight and like 1000 bucks...and another thing to go worng and have problems with in 10 years!

im new here as well! ive been following the posts for like 3 months and just got around to registering a few days ago

No, it won't be a true muscle car, but power to weight will be better than nearly all of the third gens -they never cracked 12 lbs/hp as far as I know. Yes yes, 'turd gen' but it is a noteworth tidbit. I am confident that the new Camaro will give anyone, buying any model, the most bang for their buck.
hey...what you got against third gens, cept that they are slow, heavy, and guzzle gas. but no, they played an equal part in f-body history! the way i see it is that if GM hadnt got all the bad designs and kinks figured out on the third gens, and hadnt realized what NOT to do with f-bodies, then the 4th gens wouldnt have been so good. each model is a step above the previous, and thats part of the reason im really excited for this new camaro! the ls1 cars were so sick...i cant even imagine how amazing this car is going to be!

I'm having a very rough time with my joblessness and now a family issue that has rocked me recently...

...this, in the least, is some sweet news to a long line of bad news for me.

Thanks, that was great!
