Terrible water spots on fire truck. help! Zaino?

So im a firefighter and we have 2 Crash trucks that have black ledges right above and below the turrets.....The water is EXTREMELY hard here and it makes the water spots terrible, along with the combination of lazy people who dont shammy it down after shooting water.

What do you guys suggest getting to take these water spots off? No pics as i dont have a camera at work. But they are just very bad.....water spots on top of water spots.

Anything from zaino or adams that will work for this?

Thanks!

I'd say a claybar, but that might take awhile on a fire truck....

Well its really a small area, its not the whole truck. Its just the black(painted) ledge above and below the water turret. Probably a 4 ft by 1 ft area.

So Clay bar it, and give it some polish?

50% white vinegar, 50% distilled water in a spray bottle is what I use to get off hard water deposits. Works great!

Yeah, I'd wash it with some dawn dish soap, clay it, then for your application I'd go ahead and drop the cash on some Zaino to put on afterwards. I'd imagine those trucks go through some sort of hell on a regular basis so it would seem worth the money on something that durable.

Clay bar and community service will do the whole truck while you sit and watch.
