Seriously! Buying "car parts"?! I would think there would be more important considerations for that money than "car parts", I don`t know like maybe paying bills if you were laid off or lost your job because of the pandemic, but hey if "car parts" are more important than keeping the electricity on, food, gas, medicine, ect then knock yourselves out and just piss it away!

I think, this to help the people to get there lives back in order. If you can afford to buy parts for your car Great. My household is Single paycheck and we survive Week to week, if i get extra I get to get a car part, which is about a special part a year, (I am one of those that could only afford a V6).

It might be taxed. : And the small buiness bailout LOANS are really self defeating while big business gets even more free help besides the huge tax cuts for them and the wealthy. But them the Swamp in the Senated is now much deeper and way over our heads. :(

Everyone is different and my job is paying me full salary without using my time till they call me back in and it seems like that day not till mid May. So might as well blow it on some things that I wanted for something that I enjoy everyday.

Unfortunately the bill, to help business with fewer than 501 employees, couldn't gain enough Democratic support.

Hopefully is will pass soon so small businesses can get help
Quote:
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), who chairs the Senate Small Business Committee, said there is a “very strong general agreement” that small businesses will be able to obtain loans up to 250 percent of their one-month payroll. That money, as long as it is used for businesses expenses such as paying workers or providing their benefits, or to cover rent, will be entirely forgiven, Rubio said.

“This is money that needs to get into these hands very quickly before these doors continue to close and people keep getting laid off every day,” Rubio said

Pretty sure not ALL Americans will get a check. There is a salary cap.

It’s a lame cap too, middle class gets screwed again because my base salary is 100k a year. But I am a home owner and a father of 2 in New York so it’s barely enough to save a little every check

Won't be buying car parts.

Would like a pack of chicken breasts, pack of wings, some ground beef, canned goods, hand sanitizer, bleach, bottled water, eggs, milk, and a 4 pack of toilet paper.

Unfortunately none of these things are available at any store where I live.

Well, I was hoping to buy some Corona Beer but I probably won't get a check. Oh well.

Yep car parts for me. I have enough food to keep on the table for quite a while. If we run out of meat products (which be for a while) I will go fishing or hunting. But my freezer is full and the spill over for food is at my parent's house. I'm fortunate to have many friends that have gardens too. I can either trade something for or just buy. But with that said they are also self reliant to put meat on the table.
