Ok, this may be a dumb question to some but any major work I've done to cars has been on carbureted motors. It says you need an ECU, but I'm assuming that that's based on the fact that it doesn't come with one. Will you be able to re-configure the existing ECU in the Camaro or other similar Chevy V8 cars to run this?

My dads friend has a 2007 jeep wrangler and put a 505 hp viper engine in it, lifted it and got a bunch of other stuff done for 60K. So im guessing that engine would be pretty expensive... at the least 20K maybe 30K. Way to much for me... most people would still just see it as a camaro.

That's the best part of it all! You'd be the perfect sleeper. Most people think that the Camaro is going to perform well enough to beat a Challenger, but it won't be smacking Ferraris. One day, you'll post single digits in the quarter mile, and the ones who underestimate you will brown their pants.

It's just a Camaro with the heartbeat of the LS9.

Especially with well done electronic cutouts... give it a less aggressive rumble during staging, and right when you get up to the line open those bad boys up and let the roar of the LS9 shake the stands...

how much would it cost to supercharge or turbo the LS3 to this power level? Even with beefed up internals and fuel, would it really get up to $20K?

I read about a bolt on twin turbo kit for the G8 making over 500hp to the wheels.

545rwhp TTG8

Geez, he can't even get traction on that dry pavement!! That's some serious power for a lot less than an LS9.
