Guess it's time to move on

Well I just sold my SS yesterday, I joined this site 4 years ago, I believe it was the same day I bought my Camaro. Seen a lot of people come and go here, and some that's been here the whole 4 years. My Camaro was a hobby of mine that I used for some serious, and fun transportation. It took a lot of work and time to keep it in the condition that it was. I put my Camaro on CL last Saturday and in about 24 hours a guy contacted me, he and his wife came to the house yesterday. They looked at the car, took it for a test drive that was only about a quarter mile up the road and back. They got out of the car and handed me the $$$ quickly before I changed my mind. It was kind of funny, as my wife and I were waiting for them to show up she was looking out our front window and said "here comes someone, oh, no, that's not them, it's someone with a trailer". Well, the trailer stopped in front of the house, it was them. They came from 130 miles away. The were the nicest folks, I am very pleased with the new owners of my former Camaro. They are going to take care of it like I did. I attached a pic of my car being loaded. It made me feel good to see it go away in a nice trailer.

Well anyways, goodbye Camaro5 and to all you good people that have a lot of things in Common. Happy Motoring!

Selling your Camaro does not mean you have to leave. Unless you really want to, of course. You already know all that.

You have years of experience that can still help others. Consider at least checking in from time to time and helping someone out who needs it. Either way, congrats on an easy sale (of a very nice car) and for all the past contributions. Best of luck with whatever is next and god speed.

This is one of the better forums because of guys like you that give out great information and helpful hints. Best of luck in all of your future endeavors. Just out of curiosity, are you getting another car to replace the Camaro, if so what are you leaning towards?
