Forget chasing horsepower...

I'm adding cat power!

Started the car up this morning, let it warm up, pulled it up on ramps to change the oil, cut the engine, and popped the hood. Saw hair all over the place, then I noticed the cat wedged into the corner. At first, I thought it was dead - it wasn't moving. Thinking the worst, I put on some gloves and grabbed the hind legs and had to yank really hard to get it out. Cat hissed, I let it down, and it ran to the side of the house. A couple hours later, it still is just huddled in my basement window well. It looks to be fine, just scared.

No, actually I was relieved. I didn't want to have to clean up blood and guts. Plus, I didn't want to have to go to a neighbor with a carcase. Still not sure whose it is though.

Oh, and I found out a necessary tool for your detailing bag: a lint roller. Had to use one to get all the hair off the hood pad and from everywhere else.

When people refer to a CAI - they mean COLD Air Intake....not Cat Air Intake

I found a cat in my truck's engine bay a year ago. Well, little bits of one. Pain in the ass to clean lol.
