Recap - Torq 2nd Annual Charity Car Show & Dyno Day - Lots of photos!
First off, WOW! What an amazing day and thank you all for the support for both us and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation! We managed to raise over $2200 for the charity, and we had over 220 cars here rocking the dyno, families enjoying the car show, and everyone simply having a blast. People drove from near and far, and we had quite a few customers/fans all the way from GA and SC.
Before we get to the fun stuff, I would like to thank our suppliers and sponsors for all the amazing raffle prizes donated by them, many of them sponsors on this forum as well and ALL of them considered some of the best in their field. Together they donated almost $10.000 in retail value of parts which is simply awesome!
We had the weather gods on our side for the whole day, and it was a nice 85* with low humidity so not to hot! We had the amazing Miami Food Trucks on site with some great food for all of our fans, and also an Ice Cream Truck for the little ones. Another fun thing going on at the show was the RC track! We had the guys from South Florida RC Drift here, and they built up a complete track in our shop showing off their stuff. They even built and donated to the raffle a true replica of my own Torq Camaro! How awesome is that! Thanks guys for the awesome support, you rock Here are a bunch of photos from the car show and dyno, we were represented well from the Camaro5 forum through both Tri-County-Camaros and SFC5 and had at least 60 5th gens on site! Thanks to all of the members for the support! Our very own Xavier with his Whipple/Cammed Camaro SS was leading the "King Of The Dyno" class, until this little red Mustang came on in and ran 850rwhp and 900rwtq... Stout power, regardless of brand of vehicle! Again, thank you to ALL and stay tuned for our next event, now that will be something worth waiting for! /Erik@Torq |

I think my track days may be coming to a close at Pony Wars. Its fun but waaaaay too expensive and hard on the car. With my latest bout with GM, I think I may have worn my warranty out at only 6k miles, so once this top B.S. is done, I really gotta keep her safe.
I've always been more of a show than go guy, so I think that's the direction I'm heading.... I'll leave the racing (and repairs) to Mike n George, lol!
